Hunter Named Fulbright Top Producer

Letter from President and CEO Institute of International Education (IIE) to Hunter President Jennifer J. Raab:

Congratulations to Hunter College, The City University of New York on being one of this year's Fulbright Program "top producers!"  Hunter College also has the unique distinction of being one of this year's top producers for both the Fulbright U.S. Student and Scholar Programs.  Top producing institutions in all Carnegie Classifications were highlighted in the October 28th online edition of The Chronicle of Higher Education.

On behalf of the Fulbright Program's sponsor, the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and the Institute of International Education I would like to acknowledge your Fulbright Student Program Adviser, Myrna Fader and your Fulbright Scholar Program Campus Representative, Robert Buckley for their fantastic work to ensure the program's success at Hunter College.

I thank you and your colleagues for helping to promote the Fulbright Program's goals of fostering leadership and increasing mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.  We hope that you will continue to support the program's success on your campus and its contributions to global peace and stability.

Best wishes for 2013,
Allan
