Hunter's MFA Studio Art Program Wins PADA Grant
The Private Art Dealers Association (PADA) has awarded Hunter's MFA Program in Studio Art its $5000 annual grant in support of the program's MFA thesis exhibition. The grant was announced at the PADA annual dinner at the Lotos Club. Representing Hunter were Howard Singerman, chair of Hunter's Department of Art and Art History; Joachim Pissarro, professor of art history and director of the Hunter College Art Galleries; Professor Lisa Corinne Davis; and alumni Robert Barry '63 and Frances Barth '71, both of whom attended Hunter for their undergraduate and graduate degrees. Also attending were students from Hunter's MFA program as well as staff members of the Hunter College Art Galleries.
