It is with deep sadness that we inform you that Kiyanoush Asif, an undergraduate student of Hunter College’s School of Arts and Sciences died yesterday following a tragic motorcycle accident. We have conveyed our community’s condolences and deepest sympathy to his family. We also offer our sympathy and support to Kiyanoush’s professors and friends.

We understand that this unexpected and devastating news may be difficult to reconcile with fond memories many of you have of Kiyanoush. We are making counselors available in Room 1123E if you feel the need to talk to someone about this tragedy.
