Men’s Volleyball Team Selected to Participate in the First-Ever NCAA Division III Championships

The Hawks finished the season as the CUNYAC/Con Edison Championship runner-up, earning a spot as the number four seed in the inaugural 2012 NCAA Division III Championships, to be held April 27-29 in Springfield, Mass. They also ended the year 25-8, clinching the CUNYAC regular season championship!

The first-round site for the NCAA championship will be hosted by Baruch College in the ARC Arena, on April 21, where Hunter's rival, the Baruch Bearcats, who similarly earned a slot in the championships, will face Elms College at 7 pm in a play-in game.

The Hawks will take on Kean University (25-10) in a quarterfinal match on Friday, April 27 at 2:30 pm at Blake Arena in Springfield.

Should the Hawks advance, they will play in the semifinals, slated to take place on Saturday, April 28th at 4 pm. The finals are scheduled for Sunday, April 29th at 4 pm.
