Poet David Ferry shortlisted for the National Book Award in poetry

Poet David Ferry -- who will be reading as part of Hunter's Distinguished Writers Series on October 23 - was recently shortlisted for the National Book Award in Poetry for his latest collection Bewilderment.  Come and hear David read from this collection and answer audience questions on October 23 at 7:30 pm.  He will be signing books afterward.

David Ferry has published eight volumes of poetry, many verse translations and is the recipient of honors including the Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize from the Academy of American Poets and the Rebekah Johnson Bobbit National Prize for Poetry from the Library of Congress.
