Apply to COMSC

What you need to know to apply to Hunter College's COMSC Program

Application Processes described are one of two types: matriculate and non-matriculate.

Deadlines for matriculate (degree) applications and applying for non-degree (non-matriculate) status are listed here.

Course Requirements to Matriculate are discussed in this section. Applicants are advised to carefully review pre-requisite course requirements to ensure applications are complete.

Acquiring Non-degree Status is for students wishing to take the foundations (600-level) communication science courses. These are basic introduction courses necessary to later apply to the COMSC program as a matriculated (or degree) student. The more advanced 700-level courses are only open to individuals who have been admitted as matriculated students.
