The COMSC Program Director (PD) works with faculty, students and staff ensuring both academic and administrative objectives are attained. As administrator, the PD represents the COMSC Program's interests to the rest of the College, serves as liaison to meet program accreditation standards, and oversees curriculum development. The PD works closely with all faculty helping to promote teaching, research, and service.

Some of the duties of PD are to assist faculty in professional development and promotion, mediate student issues and facilitate academic advancement. The PD attends the annual meeting of the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders with the COMSC clinic director bringing back new ideas about graduate education in the fields of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
