Susan Wortsman, MA/CCC, has been a practicing clinical audiologist for the past 29 years. For 23 years, she also was the Supervising Audiologist at the Mount Sinai Medical Center's Communication Disorders Center. Presently, she is the audiologist at an outpatient rehabilitation center in New York City, in addition to her position as an instructor.
Ms. Wortsman's expertise is in the areas of clinical diagnostic and pediatric audiology.
She has served the NY State Speech Language Hearing Association (NYSSLHA) in the capacity of treasurer in the 1980's, and two times as the annual convention operations chair. Ms. Wortsman has also presented at several sessions at the NYSSLHA convention
Ms. Wortsman has been the recipient of the NYSSLHA Distinguished Service award as well as the Mount Sinai Medical Center's Service Award.
