Welcome to the Computer Science Department

The Department of Computer Science is located at Hunter's 68th street campus on the upper east side of Manhattan. Providing students with outstanding preparation both for employment as computer professionals and for future graduate study, the department expects students to construct creative solutions to challenging problems in a variety of contexts. The small but diverse faculty works closely with students in an open and collegial atmosphere. November 6, 2014 is the last day to WITHDRAW with the final grade of "W" on your transcript is NOVEMBER 6.

Final exams begin on December 17.  UNIFORM FINAL EXAM DAY is December 16.


The next scheduled test out date is Thursday, December 11, 2014:  there will be two sessions -- one at 10:00 am (till 12:00p or 1:00p depending on the exam) and one at 5:30p (till 7:30p or 8:30p, depending on the exam)  Rooms will be announced.  For general information about requirements and policies, see below...

The Department of Computer Science offers exceptionally well-prepared students the opportunity to receive credit by examination for CSCI 127 (Introduction to Computer Science); CSCI 135 (Analysis & Design 1/C++ Programming) and CSCI 150 (Discrete Structures).
