The Department of Computer Science is located at Hunter's 68th street campus on the upper east side of Manhattan. Providing students with outstanding preparation both for employment as computer professionals and for future graduate study, the department expects students to construct creative solutions to challenging problems in a variety of contexts. The small but diverse faculty works closely with students in an open and collegial atmosphere. COMPUTER SCIENCE OFFICE SCHEDULE -- WINTER BREAK 2013-2014
The CSCI Department office will be closed for all business from Friday, December 20, 2013 at 4:30p through January1, 2014 -- inclusive. It will reopen on Thursday morning, January 2 at 9:00a.
The Department Chair, William Sakas, will be available for advising by confirmed appointment:

The office will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2014 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day.
TESTOUTS: The department will offer test outs on Wednesday, 15 from 2:00p - 5:00p (see below for more information).
LAB: Room 1000-G is scheduled to be painted sometime over the winter break; at this point no firm date for this has been set with HC's Dep't of Facilities. It is advisable to call the CS Department Office first before trekking in to verify it will be open when you plan on coming. As soon as a date is settled upon, it will be posted here. TEST-OUTS for CSCI 127, 135 and 150 SCHEDULED FOR Wednesday, January 15 at 2:00pm.
