The Division of Information and Intelligent Systems has awarded Professor Susan Epstein a new grant, “Learning to perform consistently in human/multi-robot teams.” Previously supported for two years by a CUNY-wide collaborative grant, this exciting work is in collaboration with Professors Elizabeth Sklar and Simon Parsons of Brooklyn College. This brings Professor Epstein’s total active NSF grants for artificial intelligence to three. Her other supported research is in natural language processing and constraint satisfaction. All three address machine learning and knowledge representation.
