Auditions
Technique Placement Class
Ballet and Contemporary Technique Placement Class for Spring 2013 courses - required for all new and transfer students. South Studio, Thomas Hunter Hall, Wednesday, January 23, 2012 at 10:00am-12:00pm. Students will be provided with a late registration fee waiver form.
Repertory Auditions
Donna Uchizono will audition students for the Spring Repertory Class. Students in Contemporary Technique Level 3 and above are eligible to audition. Rehearsals during the spring M/Th 6-8.
Repertory Auditions
Gerald Otte will be restaging Alwin Nikolais' "Aviary" - a work never before seen in NY. The Rep Class will meet M & Th evenings during the Spring 2011 semester. Rehearsals may begin toward the end of this semester. Contemporary Technique 3 or higher required.
Orientation and Auditions
Come meet faculty, student leaders, and check out this year's company. Student choreographers will hold auditions for works to be shown in Fall Hunter College Dance Company, Works in Progress concert in December 2012. Dancers must be enrolled in a HC Dance Technique course (Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, or W. African) to be eligible. Dancers are allowed to participate in up to 5 works (including Repertory works by Guest Artists)
