Fall 2003: Learning Lab for Deaf
& Hard-of-Hearing Students
For over 20 years (and still counting),
Hunter College offered the Learning Lab, an after school tutoring program.
This year the Masters program in
Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing will be extending this program to the deaf and

area. This one-on-one intensive remediation will utilize all modalities
(sign or oral) focusing in areas of need such as: Reading Comprehension,
Vocabulary, Spelling, Writing and Math.
The Learning Lab is also a great
opportunity to meet other deaf and hard-of-hearing peers from the metropolitan
area.
