Program Description
Spend three days in exotic Buenos Aires, dance tango and eat the most delicious beef in the world. Then, cross the famous gauchos' pampas and arrive at the beautiful beaches of Mar del Plata, lodge in a comfortable hotel near the beach, and celebrate New Year's Eve at a cafe overlooking the untamed waves of the Atlantic. Take six credits in Spanish language or literature at the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, one of the most prestigious in Argentina. The small classes are staffed with one instructor and several local student-assistants (students in the Humanities Division of the same university), who will take you to exciting places in order to practice conversation, get you acquainted with the local culture, and make you feel at home.
