Then, cross the famous gauchos' pampas and arrive at the beautiful beaches of Mar del Plata, lodging in a comfortable hotel near the shore. Take six credits in Spanish language or literature at the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, one of the most prestigious in Argentina. The small classes are staffed with one instructor and several local student-assistants (students in the Humanities Division of the same university), who will take you to exciting places in order to practice conversation, get you acquainted with the local culture, and make you feel at home.
