Art Safety
Environmental Health and Safety aims to set guidelines to ensure the safety of faculty, staff, and students who work in the art departments. This includes all painting studios, printmaking and graphics, ceramics, photography, and sculpture work spaces. These guidelines help to identify and control various hazards and ensure the safe use of art materials and equipment. Many of the chemicals and processes within these departments are regulated by local, state, and federal regulations.
