Donna Masini earned her MFA from New York University in 1988.
Her book of poems, That Kind of Danger (Beacon Press, 1994), won the Barnard Women Poet's Prize. Her novel, About Yvonne (Norton, 1997), has been translated into several languages. A recipient of many grants including National Endowment for the Arts and New York Foundation for the Arts, her poems have appeared in TriQuarterly, Paris Review, Georgia Review, Parnassus, Boulevard, Open City, Women's Review of Books, and KGB Bar Book of Poems.
Her new collection of poems, Turning to Fiction, will be published by Norton in 2004.
