2006-07 COST OF ATTENDANCE

The nine-month (Fall and Spring semesters) student expense budgets that are

used to determine financial need for the 2006-07 academic year are:

· The Housing component of the Living Away From Parent budget is derived

 using average housing charges for a rental apartment in metropolitan New York,

 using the assumption that the student is sharing the housing costs with a roommate.

· The Personal Expenses component includes an allowance for medical expenses                                                                                                           

 and/or health insurance.

· Independent students who incur expenses for dependent care (either child  care

 or elder care) may have their expense budget adjusted.
