Suggested Reading for Gifted Kids of Various Ages

Dr. Rachel Schnur, head of the Anderson Program at PS 9 in New York City, has had extensive experience with encouraging a love of reading in gifted
learners. She has compiled a list of her 100 favorite books for Middle
School students in Grades 6 and 7.

Jennifer Levere, the Teacher-Librarian at Montcrest School in Toronto, has
had years of experience working with gifted learners. Having observed that
"Gifted readers are the most demanding and the most appreciative of good
books with plenty of depth," she compiled the following lists, divided into
