Reading for Gifted Kids of Various Ages
Dr. Rachel Schnur, head of the
Anderson Program at PS 9 in New York City, has had extensive experience
with encouraging a love of reading in gifted
learners. She has compiled a list of her 100 favorite books for Middle
School students in Grades 6 and 7.
Jennifer Levere, the Teacher-Librarian
at Montcrest School in Toronto, has
had years of experience working with gifted learners. Having observed
that
"Gifted readers are the most demanding and the most appreciative
