Application Form

To apply for readmission to Hunter College, please:

Once you submit the readmission application, additional documents can be sent via email to gradadmissions@hunter.cuny.edu


Additional Requirements:

  • If your graduate grade point average (GPA) is below 3.0 and would like to apply for readmission, you would need to submit an approved Graduate Readmission Probation Approval Form , signed by the respective current Graduate Advisor(s) and Divisional Dean along with your Application for Graduate Readmission
  • If the allowed time period for completion of your degree has passed (five (5) years except for the School of Arts and Sciences - four (4) years), you would need to submit an approved Application For Graduate Time Extension to the Registrar's office.
  • If you are applying for degree readmission and completed graduate-level course work in your absence from Hunter College, you would need to arrange official academic transcripts (from all colleges or universities attended) to be sent directly to the graduate admissions office.

*Official academic transcripts can be sent directly from the respective institutions to the graduate admissions office electronically via email or via postage mail.
