Application Policies & Procedures

May I apply to more than one program?

You may only apply to one program for any given semester; please decide which of our programs is the most appropriate for you.

What is the deadline for filing of the application?

You can find the application deadline of the program to which you wish to apply in Application Deadlines and in Program Requirements.

If I submit my application online can I also send in a paper copy of my application?

No. If you submit an application online, do not also submit a paper copy.  It will not be kept.

If I already have an ApplyYourself PIN number, either from a prior application to Hunter College or from having used ApplyYourself to submit an application to another institution, should I use that number again?

Yes.

If I have forgotten my ApplyYourself PIN number and password should I create a new account with ApplyYourself?

No. Please use the SEARCH feature on the main page of the online application to look up your PIN and password. The creation of a second ApplyYourself account will delay the processing of your application.

If I have a question about my application or wish to amend any information concerning my application after it has been submitted, whom do I contact?

If you do not find an answer to your question on our website or need to update information on your application, please contact the Graduate Admissions Office via e-mail at: gradadmissions@hunter.cuny.edu. In the subject line type in: Question Not Answered on Website or Change Application Information. In the text of the e-mail, you must include your name, date of birth, and the program to which your are applying and for which semester.
