Communication Sciences Programs
Prospective students may choose from one of two full-time curricula leading to a Master of Science (MS) degree in Communication Sciences. The Health Sciences curriculum (HS) in Speech-Language Pathology is 60 credits and prepares students for professional practice in hospitals, healthcare agencies, general and specialized clinical settings, and private practices. Students wishing to eventually work in a New York State school setting must enroll in the Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)curriculum, which requires an additional six credits to the HS curriculum.
Please decide which curriculum is the most appropriate for you before submitting your application. Once your application is reviewed and you are offered admission you must submit a new application for the following academic year if you decide to change your program. The change of curriculum fee is $125.
