Financial Aid
Many graduate students at Hunter finance their education through federal, state, and Hunter aid programs. Degree students who register for six (6) or more credits and meet all federal aid eligibility requirements may qualify for a low-interest Federal Direct Loan. Graduate students may also qualify for Federal Perkins Loan, or Federal College Work Study. New York State residents may qualify for New York State Tuition Assistance.
The Office of Financial Aid at Hunter College can provide you with information and a CUNY FAFSA/FAF application for the following programs:
