Procedure for Transfer Credit Evaluation
Students seeking equivalency evaluation of credits
taken at another school must provide the following
documents:
Hunter College transcript with "see department"
notation (photocopy of transcript is acceptable).
AND
Official course description or course syllabus
from the previous school. (The course description
must be from the college catalogue (photocopies
are acceptable) or printed from the college web
site. Hand-written/typed descriptions are not
acceptable.)
Documents must be left at the History Department
(Room W1512). The documents will be given to an
advisor for review; response may be picked up
at the History office (generally 48-72 business
hours; somewhat longer during inter-session and
summer).
Students wishing to have completed form returned
by mail must provide a self-addressed envelope
with sufficient postage.
