Located on the Brookdale Campus at 25th street and 1st Avenue, this community is one that you, as an Honors College student, have the opportunity to enjoy. Prior to each Hunter Honors College student's freshman year, they are given the choice between an all-expenses-paid dorm room on campus, guaranteed for four years, or a $1000 stipend each year to spend at his or her leisure. Many students select the dorm option as a way to interact with their fellow students, immerse themselves in an academic environment, and become part of a close-knit community that will endure for their entire college career. The self-sufficiency, independence, and responsibility that one learns while living in the dorms are skills that will benefit the student for years to come.
