Stephanie Marshall comes to the Macaulay Honors College from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY, where she served as an academic advisor to students in the Doctor of Pharmacy program.  In addition to advising students, she taught a freshmen orientation seminar.  Prior to her work at LIU, Stephanie served as an academic advisor at Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, advising freshmen and transfer students.   She also has extensive experience as a social worker for the City of New York. 

Stephanie received her BA in sociology from The City College of New York.  She earned her MA in creative writing from LIU, where she studied fiction, poetry and drama.   In addition to her love of writing, Stephanie enjoys travel, museums, and participating in and watching sports.  She and her family reside in Peekskill, NY.
