Departmental Honors Program
To
graduate with departmental honors, a Film or Media major must
complete a FILM/MEDIA 402.03 Honors Project under the supervision
of a faculty advisor. The student must apply for the project and
find a faculty sponsor the semester before registering for the
project. Honors projects may include: a research paper in film
or media studies; an extended journalistic essay; a documentary
proposal; a work of interactive media; a screenplay.
The
Honors project allows a student to design and execute an original
and significant synthesis and development of her/his academic
course work.
