Departmental Honors Program
The
German Department offers high-achieving students the opportunity
to do an Honors Thesis and to graduate with honors. They also
do mentoring in the department and encourage students to apply
for Fulbright, CDS International and DAAD (German Academic Exchange
Service) scholarships. In the past, their students have been very
successful in these competitions. The Program is not large enough
to offer special honors sections; however, they are willing to
mentor special projects even in lower level courses.
