Mellon – Mays Undergraduate Fellowships (MMUF)
The Mellon - Mays Undergraduate Fellowship Program at Hunter is open to academically talented students interested in pursuing doctoral studies. The program prepares these students for an academic career in the Humanities.

The Howard Hughes Program
Supports two programs (1) increasing the number of biology majors engaging in research by providing summer research opportunities at the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole, the American Museum of Natural History and the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and (2) outreach to high school and middle school teachers and their students. This includes a summer molecular biology workshop for teachers, equipment and supplies for their classes, visits to the American Museum of Natural History and to Hunter College by both teachers and their students.
In addition, the Howard Hughes Program funds a close collaboration with the new Manhattan/Hunter Science High School.
