CUNY Policy on Religious Accommodations

Please be advised that from the evening of Wednesday, May 12th through the evening of Thursday, May 13, 2021, many members of the CUNY community will celebrate Eid al-Fitr, a religious holiday that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Furthermore, there may be other religious observances through the end of the Spring 2021 semester.

Please note that CUNY’s policy on religious accommodation allows for students to request and be granted an accommodation on the basis of religious belief.  A link to the policy is posted below:

For any questions about CUNY's policy on religious accommodations, please contact Chris Rosa, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Inclusion Initiatives at christopher.rosa@cuny.edu.
