MTA FARE INCREASE FOR TRANSIT BENEFIT ENROLLEES

Effective Sunday, March 19, 2017, the MTA is increasing fares for various MTA products including but not limited to the 30-Day Unlimited Ride MetroCard (from $116.50 to $121.00). No automatic changes to existing deductions will be made. To update your transit deductions, please fill out the WageWorks form and return it to the Department of Human Resources/Benefits.

PLEASE NOTE: The biweekly pre-tax maximum deduction  remains at $127.50. Employees with a $127.50 biweekly deduction  are only permitted to increase their post tax deductions  at this time.

Fare increases will also take effect for MTA Metro North and Long Island Rail Road trips. For a complete list of changes you must visit the MTA website: www.MTA.info
