Can I include forms in my website?

Yes, through the use of Formbuilder and a window object.

Formbuilder is on online application (separate from the WebCMS) that allows you to build and manage online forms. No knowledge of HTML is required. You simply log in to the Formbuilder interface and click a button to create a new form. As users complete the form, you can receive email notifications, and the form results will be saved in a convenient Excel or CSV file.

You can see a Formbuilder form in action here.
To request a Formbuilder account, click here.

Once you've created your form, you can create a new Window object in your WebCMS subsite. When asked for the window's URL, enter the form's web address. This will surround the form with your subsite's header, footer and sidebars, making the form appear to be a part of your site even though it exists in a standalone application.

For assistance with this process, contact the Technology Resource Center (TRC) or the Web Development Group.
