Hunter Reduces

Get on the Bike.  Because Hunter College's Public Safety department is based at our main campus, on East 68th Street, they have a lot of ground to cover when making the rounds at our four other satellite campuses.  One of the ways Public Safety helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to reduce fuel consumption is by regularly using bicycles instead of patrol vehicles to visit the other campuses.

Hybrid Vehicle.  Hunter Public Safety also reduces emissions and fuel consumption by incorporating a hybrid patrol vehicle in its fleet.
