Some of the 2019 Hunter Green Week events will include: |
-- Sustainability Game Day will take place as the closing event for HSP’s Hunter Goes Green Week. Game Day will focus on games that have themes involving sustainability or ecological themes, offering a fun and interactive way to promote environmental awareness at Hunter. “Energetic” (a board game developed by City Atlas at Hunter) will be one of the featured games. | -- The Hunter Recycling Game App will be a mobile/web-based game that aims to improve people’s knowledge of recycling and waste sorting protocol for their city and state, as well as to encourage proper recycling habits. |
In alliance with HSP, the Hunter College Sustainability Committee will be holding an e-waste collection drive open to all students, faculty, and staff and will also be raffling prizes and putting out a survey for the campus community to give their thoughts on the College’s 10-year sustainability action plan. |

DURING HUNTER GOES GREEN WEEK, COME TO THE HUNTER WEST BUILDING LOBBY AND RECYCLE YOUR OLD ELECTRONICS!

- Computers (including laptops, desktops, tablets and e-readers)
- Printers, Scanners
- Cameras
- Cables and IT accessories (mice, keyboards, webcams, speakers, microphones)
- Mobile devices (cell Phones, Tablets, PDAs, MP3 players)
- DVD players, VCR’s, portable digital music players
- Digital converter boxes, Cable or satellite receivers (including digital media receivers)
- Electronic or video game consoles
- Storage devices (external hard drives, solid state drives, SD cards, memory cards, card readers)
