Technology Teaching and Learning Group
ICIT’s Technology Teaching and Learning Group (TTLG) endeavors to enrich the educational experience of students at Hunter College by encouraging the thoughtful integration of technology into the curriculum. The TTLG works to achieve this goal by empowering faculty to adopt technology in effective and innovative ways. The TTLG's educational technologists guide, support, and collaborate with faculty to help them incorporate technology that meets their teaching and learning goals. Through programs like FITT and Tech Thursdays, we create opportunities for faculty to share ideas, form networks and communities, and learn from one another.
Support for Teaching with Technology
Consultations
ICIT’s educational technologists meet with faculty to help them incorporate technology in effective and innovative ways. We can help you use technology to increase student participation, support collaboration, create engaging course materials, and address other teaching and learning goals. Our staff can assist you with a range of interactive technologies, including blogs, wikis, clickers, and podcasts, in addition to Blackboard. Tech Thursdays
Tech Thursdays is a weekly, faculty-led seminar on teaching and learning with technology. Please join us on Thursdays for lunch, conversation, and hands-on experience with a range of technologies. Faculty Innovations in Teaching with Technology (FITT)
FITT is a presidential initiative FITT is designed to support course development work over the summer months. Successful applicants are supported by an educational technologist and other ICIT staff, as well as by a faculty mentor.
