Learning Technologies
Software & Applications
Educators at Hunter make use of a wide variety of teaching and learning tools.
- Blackboard is the course management system. You can post assignments, give quizzes, grade your students, set up discussion boards, and much more! (Accessed using a CUNY Portal ID.)
- Respondus
is software that allows you to create and manage assessments offline,
and then upload the results to Blackboard. (Requires your Hunter NetID
and password to download.)
- Turnitin can help deter plagiarism and educate students about appropriate use of sources.
- Podcasting lets you put lectures and other information online for students (or potential students) to access.
