Core Lab Software
Following the recommendation of Hunter's Software Advisory Committee, a joint initiative of ICIT and Provost Office, the items on this page should be present on every computer available to Hunter students.
Following the recommendation of Hunter's Software Advisory Committee, the items below should be present on every computer available to Hunter students. These recommendations are a first step towards standardizing, and optimizing utilization of software provided to students. It is by definition a work in progress and can be refined and extended over time to cover specialized lab computers as well as keeping current with new applications and versions that are relevant.
The SAC is a joint initiative of ICIT and the Provost Office. More information on the work and composition of the Committee can be found in the Blackboard community Software Advisory Committee (note that you will need to have logged into Blackboard 8 via the CUNY Portal to use this link.) The Blackboard Organization Name is SOFTWARE ADVISORY COMMITTEE and its ID is HC_COMMUNITY_SOFTWARE_ADVISORY_COMMITTEE.
