SPSS at Hunter College

For the Fall 2013 semester, SPSS 20 is the current licensed version of SPSS being used at Hunter College.  Anyone using a version of SPSS/PASW older than version 20 are strongly urged to upgrade to the current supported version as soon as feasible. Contact the Faculty/Staff Help Desk for media and upgrade instructions (or to schedule an assisted installation if necessary).

SPSS for Faculty/Staff Off-Campus Use

Faculty and Staff wishing to use SPSS/PASW Statistics off-campus are able to get a perpetual license SPSS 20.  These licenses are valid until August 2013.  Perpetual licenses contain most, but not all of the features of the campus Network License.  The perpetual license version of SPSS contains the following features:  SPSS Statistics Base, Advanced Statistics, and Regressions. 

Unlike the Network Licenses, the perpetual license version does not need connectivity to the Hunter College network in order to work.  Once installed, the perpetual version will work until August 2013.  If you wish to use SPSS/PASW Statistics off-campus, please contact the  Faculty/Staff Help Desk to request the media and instructions.
