All entrances to the 68th Street campus are now equipped with turnstiles or scanners that operate with the Hunter OneCard, much like MetroCards on subways and buses. One swipe gives you access to the campus. The new system is easy and convenient, but it does require everyone’s cooperation. OneCard Mobile printing allows you to print from any email enabled device.

OneCard is a system that enables you to use your Hunter ID card for a host of campus services, such as printing, copying, dining, using vending machines, and paying library fees.

You can put money on your card and check your account balance through the OneCard website or at any of the Account Management Centers (AMC) around campus.

To obtain a new card, replace a lost or stolen card, or for general assistance, you can visit the OneCard Office in Room 126 in the West Building on the 68th Street Campus. The office is open Monday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Tax-Free Dining (Students Only)

When you use your OneCard in any Hunter dining facility, no tax is charged on your purchases. (To take advantage of this feature, you must first activate your Dining Account at the OneCard website.)

Flex Account Features

Most services you pay for with your OneCard, other than those paid with your Dining Account, are paid through your Flex Account. 

Printing and Copying

The publicly available printers and copiers in the Hunter Libraries and in the Public Computing Labs cost 5 cents a page for black-and-white pages and 15 cents a page for color pages. These services can ONLY be paid for with a OneCard; cash is not accepted.

Vending Machines

There are snack and beverage machines on the 2nd floor of the West Building and the 3rd floor of the North Building on the 68th Street Campus that will accept your OneCard as payment. (More vending machines are coming soon!)

Library Fees

You can pay library late fees with your OneCard. Simply present your card at the circulation desk.

Laundry Machines

If you live in the Brookdale dormitory, you can use your OneCard for the laundry machines.
