Instructions to configure Apple's Mail.app to use Hunter's LDAP Addressbook.

1. Open Mail.app's preferences by selecting from the menu: Mail -> Preferences.
2. Change to the Composing tab.
3. Under the section Addressing, if you want Mail.app to automatically complete addresses as you type, make sure Automatically complete addresses is checked. 
4. Under the section Addressing, click the Configure LDAP... button.
5. In the drop-down window, click the + button to add a new configuration, using the information below:
   Name: Hunter LDAP Addressbook
   Server: dsa.hunter.cuny.edu
   Port: 389
   Use SSL: leave unchecked
   Search Base: ou=phonebook,dc=hunter,dc=cuny,dc=edu
   Scope: Subtree
   Authentication: None
6. Click the Save button
7. Click the Done button
8. Close the preferences window.
9. Start a new mail message.
10. In the To field, start typing the first or last name for anyone which can be found in the Hunter Online Directory.
11. You should see a list of potential matches generated, as you type.
