Hunter email users should be aware of a recent increase in phishing emails. These emails falsely claim to be from Hunter College and ask users to disclose information about themselves, including their email password. No one should ever ask for a password via email, and passwords should never be sent via email. If any Hunter college email user did respond, they should immediately change their password using Hunter NetID Central (https://netid.hunter.cuny.edu) .
