Blackboard
is an online application that you can use to create web sites
for your courses. Starting in Fall 2005, we will be using
a new version of Blackboard at Hunter. Blackboard 6 has many
new
features that make it easier to customize your course
and manage course content.
Here's how to get started with Blackboard
6: |
|
|
 |
Accessing your Blackboard site
Hunter no longer requires course request forms for Blackboard sites. All instructors are provided with Blackboard course sites. You need to be listed by name as an instructor. If you are listed as "Staff," please refer to your department and ask them to make the necessary changes. |
|
|
 |
Encourage
your students to register for the portal
Your students will also need portal accounts to access
your course on Blackboard 6. You can encourage them
to register
for the portal before the beginning
of the semester by going to your Blackboard course site
and sending an email to all students registered for
your class. Students can visit http://bb.hunter.cuny.edu
for more information about Blackboard 6 and how to register
for the portal. |
