Current Schedule

Integrated Skills (Mornings) 3.5 hours/7weeks   9:10-12:25pm

These Saturday morning classes focus on integrating grammar, writing, reading, vocabulary and listening/speaking skills in order to help students develop and solidify the language skills they need socially, in the workplace, for study in the future, and in everyday situations common to life  in New York.

The classes on Saturday are divided into 4 levels:

• Beginner (Levels 1 & 2)
• Intermediate (Levels 3 & 4)
• High-Intermediate (Levels 5 & 6)
• Advanced (Levels 7 & 8)

Communication Workshops (Mornings and Afternoons)

The IELI's Saturday communication workshops offer students the opportunity to do additional work in specific skill areas that they would like to improve. Students can choose between classes which focus on pronunciation, academic writing, business English or vocabulary and idioms development, and TESOL preparation, among other topics. The Saturday communication workshops can be taken alone or in conjunction with the morning integrated skills classes.

Saturday Short Workshops (SAT/SCW)   $180   afternoons   1:10-2:50 / 7 weeks   
These courses complement the Saturday morning integrated skills classes and are designed to help students develop fluency and confidence in spoken English.

Communication Workshops (SAT/AFT)   $405   mornings and afternoons   
8:30am-12:10pm / 8 weeks and 1:10-4:50pm / 8 weeks                                
These courses can be taken separately or in conjunction with any other IELI courses.
They include TOEFL preparation and Business English.
