This unique performance with Greek singing sensation Giannis Savvidakis and orchestra will pay tribute to Manos Hadjidakis, one of the most important and world renowned composers of Greece and Academy Award Winner for Best Original Song "Never on Sunday". A multi-talented artist (singer, songwriter, composer, actor) and one of today's leading singers in Greece, Giannis Savvidakis excels for his exceptional and gifted voice which has clarity and emotional depth that registers with anyone who hears it, for his distinct ability to bring together disparate music styles and for his powerful and high energy stage performances both as a singer and a guitarist. His impressive career spans for over 25 years and it includes countless hit recordings, platinum albums, concerts and lead roles as an actor in top rated Greek TV series. The compositions of Manos Hadjidakis are multi-faceted and hit songs many of which evolved from the Greek Cinema. For his important contributions he is regarded among the "pillars" of Greek music of the 20th century.
