The Mary P. Dolciani Mathematics Learning Center has math tutoring for a large portion of introductory and prerequisite mathematics courses. It also offers the Hunter College community Graduate Record Examination (GRE) preparation practice and a large library of mathematics textbooks to help you brush up on your quantitative skills. Another resource to consider is the Reading and Writing Center. The Reading and Writing Center provides useful online handouts to assist you in writing your personal statement and research papers as well as one-on-one tutoring for students needing help with research papers, personal statements, and resume.
The Graduate Education Requirements (GER) which Hunter College uses as the defining standards of a well rounded Hunter College graduate is a hallmark of your academic here at Hunter; you should make sure you meet your GER requirements early in your undergraduate career to avoid any difficulties.
