Dear colleague,
In an effort to improve the services of the Manhattan/Staten Island Bilingual Technical
Assistance Center (M/SI BETAC), we are conducting this on-line survey. The information
from the survey will be used to improve the resources, technical assistance and professional
development aimed at enhancing the educational experiences of Limited English Proficient
(LEP) students/English Language Learners (ELLs).
The survey contains 27 questions and should take approximately five to ten minutes. The New York State Manhattan/Staten
Island Regional BETAC at Hunter College provides technical assistance
to teachers, schools, district administrators and parents of limited
English proficient (LEP) students as well as the public in New York
City. We collaborate with Office of Bilingual Education/Foreign language
Studies (OBE/FLS) to serve eductors throughout the State to meet the
needs of English Language Learners (ELLs).
