Juella Baltonado
I am a singer and Music major who grew up in Cebu, Philippines, and moved to New York at fifteen. I have experience as a chorus member for the Martina Arroyo Foundation and Essential Voices USA. I plan to pursue my Masters degree in Music as well, and hopefully to audition and sing in musical theater or opera. I graduated from Benjamin Cardozo High School.

 

Marisa Caramanica
I am a Special Honors major and member of the Thomas Hunter Honors Program. I graduated from Carle Place High School.

 

 

 

Colleen Cash
I am a Special Honors major and member of the Thomas Hunter Honors Program. I have interned with Christie's - the fine-art auction house - as well as the Affordable Art Fair, the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), Gov. Andrew Cuomo's Executive Chamber Internship Program and the New York City Council. I graduated from Ward Melville High School.

 

 

Irina Chelidze
I am a Film major at Hunter College. I graduated from LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

 

Ethan Greenfield
I am a film major at Hunter College. I have interned with Phear Creative, a New York production company for television and film that also provides marketing and branding services. I helped film and produce promotional web content and edited music cue sheets for an MTV game show, "The Substitute," which is co-produced by Phear. I also provided support in marketing/branding research and assisted with various odd jobs. I graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School.

 

Emily Hopkins
I am double major in Media Studies and Music with a concentration in harp performance. I am a member of the Hunter Symphony and the Chamber Music Ensemble. A 2012 member of Music Under New York, I was featured in an article in The New York Post. I am fluent in French and studied abroad in France during the summer of 2013. I graduated from West Islip High School.

 

Ruby Hutson-Ellenberg
I am an English major with a concentration in creative writing. I have interned with the Mint Theater Co. At the Mint, I worked in production in the office and as a backstage assistant. I learned a tremendous amount while increasing my passion for and knowledge of theatre. I graduated from Frank Sinatra School of the Arts.

 

Cailen Jimenez
I am a English major with a concentration in creative writing. I live for art; I spend most of my free time writing, singing and acting. I also enjoy experimenting with other art forms, such as performance art, spoken word and pretending I know how to play the piano. I graduated from Mount Vernon High School.

 

Karie Lin
An Accounting major at Hunter College, I am also interested in studying fine arts and Chinese in the future. I had a summer internship in the Court Reporters department at the Kings County Supreme Court, where I assisted with replying to defendant letter requests for court transcripts and participated in a mock trial as a juror. I currently work as a Forensic Accounting intern at the New York County District Attorney's office, where I am exposed to various financial crime cases involving the mishandling of money and investments. My tasks include examining bank, credit card and brokerage statements for the flow of funds and analyzing and summarizing complex financial business records. I graduated from LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

 

Adam McCloskey
I am a Music major with a concentration in classical guitar. I graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School.

I am a German Language and Literature major. I graduated from LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

 

Michael Petruso
I was born and raised in Brooklyn. I first discovered my love for the performing arts in fifth grade when my parents noticed I had a natural talent for singing. I auditioned for and was accepted into the vocal music department at Mark Twain Intermediate School, where I competed with my choir in and won the New York State School Musical Association (NYSSMA) Festival in 2006 and 2007. I soon discovered my love of performing was not limited to singing. I auditioned for LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and earned a spot in the drama department. In the summer following my graduation from high school, I attended The New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts, where I took classes in acting, film production, improvisation, movement, voice and diction. I am currently an Emerging Media major at Hunter College, where I am broadening my range of skills in image editing, video editing, programming, animation and game design. I am hoping these skills will allow me to network with professionals in the theatre, television and film industries. My dream is to one day become a voice actor.

I am a Media Studies major at Hunter College. I graduated from Saint Vincent Ferrer High School.

 

 

 

Nataliya Rubinchik
I was born in Moscow, Russia, and lived there until 2000, when I came to New York City. At Hunter I am pursuing my BA in Psychology and a BA/MA in Economics, and I have been a part of the American Red Cross Club and Mock Trial. I have worked as a teacher's assistant for Statistical Methods in Psychology and as a research assistant for Dr. Jacqueline Carleton. I was accepted into the Psi Chi Honor Society in 2013, and my goal for the future is to attend graduate school for Clinical Psychology. I graduated from Midwood High School.

 

Amanda Saw
I am an Accounting major at Hunter. I have interned with  Virginia & Ambinder LLP since the summer of 2013, performing data entry for documents regarding prevailing wage cases, calculating damages to plaintiffs and delivering motions to various courts. As of March 2014, I have also become a part of the internal management staff of an expanding restaurant business by the name of Favela Cubana, where I enter and keep the book accounts, research and perform PR activities and enjoy a healthy dose of delicious Brazilian/Cuban cuisine! I graduated from LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

 

Joy Scanlon
I grew up on Long Island and attended Catholic school my whole life. Art has always been my passion, but I did not imagine I would pursue it as a career until I started college. At Hunter, I am a Special Honors major and  member of the Thomas Hunter Honors Program. During the Spring 2014 semester, I won the Raab Presidential Fellowship and the Edna Wells Luetz/ Frederick P. Riedel Endowed Scholarship. I have experience working as a gallery assistant, casting intern, design intern and English conversation partner. I graduated from Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Syosset, New York.

I am a film major at Hunter College. I graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School.

 

Christopher Taranto
I am History major at Hunter College and a musician. Born in Staten Island, I play guitar, bass, drums and piano. I also sing and have my own band. I graduated from St. Joseph by the Sea High School.

 

Noah Waldman
A New York native who grew up in Queens, I am a Media Analysis and Criticism major at Hunter College. I enjoy comic books, videogames and all sorts of cinema, with a preference for genre films. I graduated from Queens High School for the Sciences at York College.
