Muses visit Dia:Beacon

The Muse Scholars took a special bus trip to Dia:Beacon, a sprawling art museum inside a former Nabisco box printing factory along the Hudson River.

Muse Scholar Program Director Dara Meyers-Kingsley provided a tour of the museum's permanent collection as well as Dia's latest show, Carl Andre: Sculpture as Place, 1958-2010. The first major exhibition of Andre's works in decades, Sculpture as Place has been generating buzz in the art world and garnering reviews in publications such as The New York Times and Vogue.

Dia:Beacon houses the Dia Art Foundation's collection of art from the 1960s to the present as well as special exhibitions, new commissions, and public and education programs.
