The Hunter College Choir is actually two choirs! The day section rehearses twice a week, Monday and Thursday (1:10-2:25) while the evening section of the Hunter College Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings only (6:10-8:40). Members of the community or students who work during the day chose the evening section because of convenience of time and location while others find the day section can easily be combined with many interesting courses in the music department or college. Registration at Hunter College is a prerequisite for participation in either section of the Hunter College Choir, either through Continuing Education, through the Senior Citizen Program at Hunter, or as a fully registered student at the College. Please note: An audition is required. If you are a community member, do not register through Continuing Education until you have successfully passed the entrance audition at the first meeting of the choir as outlined below above "Rehearsals". All others may register in advance, but participation is contingent upon a successful audition.
