Members
of the National Center (January-December) receive the following
services and benefits:
Annual
Conference
The National Center Annual Conference is held each spring
in New York City. Nationally and internationally prominent
academic labor and management officials and leading scholars
present recent research in the field of collective bargaining
in higher education and the professions.
Workshops
The National Center holds workshops throughout the nation
with one day programs focused on further educating its attendees
in a specific area of higher education collective bargaining.
Publications
The National Center annually publishes and distributes three
journals as well as occasional monographs.
The
Proceedings: The text of the major papers presented at
our annual conference and commentary by the National Center's
Executive Director.
The
Directory: Compilation and statistical analyses of full-time
and part-time faculty and graduate student employee collective
bargaining throughout the United States and Canada, broken
down by state and by province.
The
Bibliography: A literature review of books, journals,
and research reports on issues relevant to professionals and
scholars at colleges and universities in the public and private
sector.
Monographs:
Works contributed by scholars in the field of higher education
collective bargaining.
